89 Trans am Mysteriously shuts off after a few minutes
I have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans am with the 350 TPI v8. About a month ago I was driving it when it died on me suddenly and wouldn’t start again. After towing it back home We replaced the Ignition Control module and o2 censor and it now starts right back up with no problem.
problem is that it dies randomly when driving but will start immediately back up. It does it at completely random and I can’t replicate it every time, it just shuts off after 5-10 minutes no matter what the circumstances are. I took it to a garage and it read no codes and everything is working fine. Driving it around the block the oil pressure gauge is really high relative what it usually had before and I’m getting no oil temp. A little while before this we replaced the alternator and fuel pump relay. I have absolutely no idea why it’s doing this and it’s stumping me. I know on these third-gen firebirds the fuel pump is a big issue but I’m able to run the car for 5 minutes. Help!

If you're suspicious of fuel delivery, hook up a fuel pressure gauge and reproduce the issue. Did you use thermal paste when swapping the ICM? Was it an AC Delco ICM?
