What wiring harness do I need? I am looking around but there are so many numbers and options. I am going from the 305 v8 to the 350 v8 (bonestock models). I was told they take the same wiring harness but wanted to confirm. If anyone could link a specific type that would work please do! Whenever I type it in to look for one it brings up sooooo many options, I am not sure which one is the correct one!

Also, will the Throttle body assembly (obviously besides the injectors themselves which I need to upgrade to 61lbs) swap from the 305 straight into the 350? Like the unit itself that screws into the top of the engine? If not, I have not been able to find this assembly to buy a new one.

I assume you have tbi, Throttlebody linkinge arms and tps style very between car and trucks do compare or just swap in the new injectors into the 305 tb injector pod is the easiest and get a 1227747 ecm and chip for 350 and manual or automatic transmission depending on what you have or a caprice 350 chip if 1228746 ecm.

 

It's a 92 Camaro. It shares the same ecm between the 305 and 350. The fuel ratio control is in the prom which can be swapped in the same ecm. My question was what wiring harness should I get and is the assembly that screws into the engine interchangeable between the two?

 

Might look for a 88-92 good used f body harness or stand-alone for 1227747 and truck ecm with appropriate prom for engine and transmission combination. The ecm is staying with the 1228746. Esc probably the same or standard lxE9 and 350 ks from 89 caprice.
