Wondering if anyone could confirm the stock length of the dipstick (not including the handle) in a 92 RS 305 TBI setup.
I just bought this car and am going through a full tuneup etc. Pulled the dipstick and indicates its waaaaayyyy overfilled. Currently runs but like trash. I was gonna just drain the oil. Add 5 quarts and notch the dipstick in the proper location but the dipstick itself is very difficult to get fully seated in the tube further indicating to me its likely not the correct dipstick. Anyone that could measure theirs for reference would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance 🙏
