New valve covers needed???

Well, I got almost all the Comp Cam Roller Rocker arms back on and I was test fitting the stock valve covers and they don't fit. The problem is the support in the middle of the cover hits the arms and won't go past them. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what'd ya do to fix it?

Oh, I have a L98 out of a 92 RS, and the heads were replaced(with iron) before I bought the car.

i did with comp 1318 rockers. if you can buy taller valve covers that would be the easiest way out. i took a extra set of valve covers and cut them up and cut up waht i had and welded them together. took a while to do it but it works.

Are there any taller center bolt style valve covers?

Here's my problem in a picture. There's not enough space between the rockers and the pcv valve baffle gets in the way.

92,

Jim Pace www.paceparts.com carries tall-style centerbolt valve covers. I think they're made by TD Performance. Pace offers a free catalog. check it out
