painting motor

i have a 1990 350, and i want to paint the engine, i have very little experience working with cars, should i try and take it out, and paint it myself, or pay someone to do it?

to paint it well, it has to come out. No doubt about that. If you are mechanically inclined and know a little about cars you can do it yourself. Just make sure you cover up all the holes so you don't get apint in the intake or exahust ports and don't apint any electrical connectors

I think I'd not take on the task of pulling the engine just to paint it...man, that's a lot of work for minimal eyeball pleasure.
