Fuel pump still work? Disconnect a line, put it to a gas can, jumper the fuel pump relay. Let the pump do the work

Top off the tank with some fresh gas and drive it around until near empty, then refill. My boat sat for a good 3 years without running. Just fired it up this spring and drove it without even adding fresh gas.

Get a 10-dollar hand-operated pump from harbor freight or online. Disconnect fuel line and connect hose on the inlet of the pump. Pump out the old gas into a large gas can.
I've done this on 2 cars and it's easy and takes only a few minutes. The most inconvenient part is crawling under the back of the car...
