Delphi Fuel pump from Rock Auto a dud?
Delphi Fuel pump from Rock Auto a dud?
Hello Guys,
My buddy and I have painstakenly replaced the sending unit and fuel pump for my 87 iroc (Stock 5.7 TPI) We swapped the pump and it it constantly reads 38psi instead of 43psi but it is holding pressure. Should I get my refund back from this fuel pump? Did I purchased a bad Fuel pump?

I installed a Delphi pump and it worked for about 8 months (about 5k miles) and failed on the Hot Rod Power Tour. We replaced it with a Walbro 255lph.
The Delphi pump does not seem to be a quality piece.

Sounds more like you didn't disconnect the vacuum from the fuel pressure regulator while measuring the pressure.
