Lots of options out there. I really like the holly sniper system and their gen 2 fixed a lot of the complaints I had with the gen 1

There are lots of standalone systems out there. The Edelbrock pro flo xt will fit under the stock TA hood. Most of the 4 barrel looking EFI units won't. I used to have a pro flo that looked like a 4 barrel and it wasn't even close to fitting under the hood. It's a simple conversion. If you have a HO you'll have an in tank fuel pump that will complicate things. I don't think the LG4s for those pumps till 85 or so.

83 LG4 would not have used the in-tank "booster" pump. Not necessarily saying there's not one there now, butt it didn't come that way.

I bought a TPI fuel pickup and used that to hold my in tank EFI pump

Thanks for the recs everyone, its an LG4 and not a HO motor and the entire fuel system is stock factory as of now so I assume there is no booster pump in the tank. A system that fits under the stock hood would be ideal.
