ok, i have heard time and time again that i can put an LT1 cam in my 89 305 TBI. so if you can switch in an LT4 hot cmainto an LT1, doesn't that mean i would be able to put it in mine?

I don't think its that easy, there are other factors included in cam selection. This is where I stop and someone esle chimes in, b/c I have no idea.

Of course you can put an LT4 hot cam in your engine, but it is probably too "hot."
