This just happened to me when after I did a valve adjustment/fan relay replacement and was test driving the car around my neighborhood, I start to go down the road and then the car just shuts off almost like I cut ignition off, after that it just refuses to start and runs the battery completely out of juice seconds after cranking. I had to let it sit and when I did the car started right back up, ran for 15 seconds perfectly and then just shut off again, same issue, no spark at all. I had to wait again and then push the car the rest of the way home. A couple months back I had an issue with the car where sometimes I'd get in and try to start and it would just have no spark, I would wiggle the 12v pink wire going to the HEI (originally went to the TPI's ignition coil) and I would all the sudden have spark. From my understanding this pink wire comes from the ignition switch, could this be an ignition switch issue or something to do with the HEI itself? I use an MSD streetfire 8362 that's only a year old. None of my accessories cut off when the engine did, it was just like the engine suddenly lost spark. It's strange my battery ran out of juice so quick considering the alternator is a powermaster unit with 3 months of use that constantly puts out 13-14.6 volts.

It was the magnetic pickup wire going to the module grounding out on the base

here we got the ground-o-matic. I used a test light to see if I had 12v to the coil and went from there. Gonna try and put a new wire in and it.
