Anyone interested in a "Car-guy" story....

.....like THIS ONE?

It's tech, it's cars, it's super interesting, IMO....so offering to share over here. Literally, right after completing AN ENGINE REBUILD in our car, I'm about to go to Maine, install that engine into one of the cars, then start a week-long tour based out of Rockland Maine. If folks would like to hear about it, I'm happy to share pics/tech/updates when I get back. LMK...

Cool car man. I was forced to start dabbling in the flathead market after a purchase not too long ago... here's a 36 59a v8 I just installed into a (35)/36 slantback. Mercury crank, Flat top pistons, she's running off a single Stromberg 97 upper and 81 lower that will be my primary on a triple deuce offenhauser setup. 99a trans. 3.73 gears... Whatever I could get my hands on... I happen to have a few 32 big banger fours, v8-60s and a couple 39 v12s to tinker on and a few shells also... I saw in a post you wanted to race. It might be a little while but I might be down 😏 Although I'm swapping it out for a Holley/Stromberg The updraft carbs on the engines are fun to tinker on. Ford barn has a lot of info on engineering that is now obsolete. Fun to work on as long as you're not finding a bunch of cracks... ✊

LOVE IT!!l. That thing is cool, the flat head has such a nice sound, and easy, "relaxed" way it goes about it's work. Cool engine, cool car.

That thing is WAY 'higher tek' than our car...you got water pumps, oil pumps, fuel pumps, electricity!....
