why is my oil almost black and as thick as tar after only 2000 miles? could it be that my mechanic when clamping the rubber tube back onto the throttle body bent the tube back underneath leaving about a 1/4 inch gap by 1/2 gap into the throtle body where i couldnt see it hince tons of dirt entering my motor..

also i cruise on durt roads almost everyday. = lots of dust in motor. i should beat my mechanic with a stick... i only noticed the problem just three days ago while my car is in winter storage.

imagin all that **** that entered my motor while driving 20+ miles on durt roads everyweek.

no mush wonder there are chips of metal in my oil filter, and there are so many that they even come out on the dipstick.

its like i took a bag of sand and pored it in the motor... i want to kill him

 

"With a stick" try the bigest bat you can find. just courious are you running a k&n filter? I have always wondered about the filtering effectiveness of those.

 

yeah the k@n's work great, but not when half the air getting pulled into the motor is not filtered because of some complete moron. oh yeah my mechanic also busted my tranny up.. well he didint do it all but im sure he helped. I had to get a cooling problem fixed and left the car at the mechanics for a couple of days, and when i come back there are litteraly 15 burnout tracks from my car infront of his garage... not just sraight line ones but reverse burnouts followed by slam into drive and litteraly peel the damn tires off... i will never take it to him again. hes was like man your car pulls hard.. and two weeks later guess what my tranny went kaput.

i think i lost like serious HP since i had my engine naturally sand blasted..

you know your in trouble when you take your filter off and look at the throtle body and theres is a trail of black grime and durt leading into each oppening.
