yea-ha.. finally got my oil leak fixed.. dont use the grey silcon
the stuff shrinks as it dries. It opened up a gap on the end seal and oil would come up the lifter valley when you got down on it it first and dump on the headers.. made it look like a pos with smoke right after you got everybodies attention from getting on it.
its running like a raped ape (30 percent humidity and 60 degrees outside). I was sitting at a light about to turn on to the main drag and i saw a LS1 TA parked beside a little tire store.. the workers (one of whom I imagined owned the TA) were moving the tires in (30mins b4 closing). I gave a rev.. a few heads poped up.. turned on the main drag and hammered it in first.. zip there go the tires... second.. yep there too.. third gear... roasted most of the way through..
