i just got the holley 110 gph mechanical fuel pump(pn#hly-12-327-11) for my 92 rs (not rs anymore).

first, for those who have switched from electric to mechanical pumps, were did you get the plate which enables you to bolt the pump to the block. is this a part that can be bought at a parts store or is it a junkyard adventure.

second, how did you get the pump to fit when the motor mount is in the way? i ve heard about a bottom feed kit. can anyone give me a part number or point me in the right direction?

You can buy the plate new, or you can try to find it in a junkyard. Don't forget the gaskets and the pump rod too. You can remove the bottom of the pump and rotate it so that the inlet and outlet aren't obstructed.
