305 cam

I have a 305 i bought for cheap from my brother after his engine swap and was wondering if i put Vortec heads on it what is an approximate price of what it would cost to mill down the heads to what a 305 would need, i think it's 58cc.

My main question for anyone one who has Vortec heads on a 305 what kind of cam do you have? and what are some reccomendations (sp?) as to the kind of cam to buy

any and all help is appreciated greatly

Don't bother milling the heads. They are close enough already.

Get a CompCams XE256H cam. It will provide as much lift as the Vortecs can handle in stock form.

This way you get maximum bang for your buck
