LT1 Intake Questions

Maybe someone can fill me in here a little. Right now I have a stock L98 and I'm trying to decide what type of intake to go with. Heads, cam and Headers are coming in the near future, so I want to plan ahead and spend my money wisely, not buy something specifically for my current set up. I am stuck between going with a Mini Ram or an LT1 set up. Can some please answer these questions for me. What is the total cost for a LT1 swap? I mean for the intake and the necesarry work/parts for it to be compadable. Also, what gains can be expected with my current set up? Will it have an adverse effect on my stock L98 like i've been told a miniram can or will it actually give me some gains before the cam/head swap? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Also, how does this intake compare to a miniram in terms of the tq curve etc? Is it a little more balanced or is it basically the same as the miniram, favoring higher rpm's? Once again, any help would be greatly apreciated.

If you do it your self it can be very cheap. Biggest factor is how much you'll willing to pay for a stock LT1 intake and weather you plan on selling the old TPI to offset that cost.
If you want me to supply everything and machine the intake I have prices posted on my website. http://www.lt1intake.com

Oh, and as far as putting it on your stock engine, it will have the same effect as putting a miniram on. You will not see it's full potential till the rest of the parts are up to speed.
