How do i keep my transmision from kicking out of over drive at 115, in my 86 camaro and is it hard to do.

This would be a better question at the transmission/drivetrain board, but anyay. B&M, as well as GM, have a kick down valve (i think thats what its called) that will initiate a downshift into third at around 3/4 throttle, not 1/2 like the stock unit. From what i know you have to drop the tranny pan and take apart the valve body. Not easy but someone who knows what they're doing can probably do it in an afternoon.......There's also the poor man's way of doing this by intentionally misadjusting the t.v. cable but thats not good for the tranny.
