Help w/CraneCam HI-6S Fireball
Hi all,
Not exactly sure where to post this question so I thought here under General would be a good start.
Here's the problem: When the HI-6S (with matching PS-91 Coil) is hooked up and functioning, the idle (which bounces between 500 - 800 RPMs while in gear) is somewhat rough and I get a raw fuel odor (not bad, but noticable). When I give it some gas to drive off from a stop, there is a slight hesitation and then all is fine. Also during starting, it seems to start a little hard then normal.
When I disconnect the HI-6S all problems go away...completely!
The motor is a fresh rebuild with now only 100 miles on it. I tried calling CraneCam tech support, but they were closed today.
Has anybody have any ideas on this one? What should I check/look for?
