ESC module (cant find it anywhere)

My esc module is crappy looking, with wires frayed here and there and my problem is that i need a new one and cant get one ordered from gm. They said to go to a boneyard and get one from there. I'm totally screwed cuz i cant find one for an 87 z28. If anyone can help me out here that would be greatly appeciated.

Last time I checked, they were about $30 for a Wells at discount auto parts stores. You must be really trying to save some money. Or are you talking about the wiring harness itself?

im talking about the little black box with about four wires going into it, and its located (on my 87 z) by the brake booster. all the wires are exposed going into the box and they look bad. im going to change my esc sensor today (knock sensor) and see if that helps any.
