Oh boy, here we go again....
None according to every piece of Camaro literature published and every fact book. However like unicorns people swear to have them or seen them. Did some plant employees possible have their personal cars converted in the 86 model year? Maybe. I'm sure this post will probably grow in size. I'm no expert but I read all I can find on Camaro's and have talked with hundreds of fellow owners and some of the engineers that put the 5.7 in the Camaro. (My wife met one of the engineers at Saturn driving school in Springfield!)

They made 50. I have an article from a magazine that tested one, it was printed sometime in May I would imagine so theres no way the car they drove was an 87. It even says something about how Chevy was going to make them and then changed their minds for some reason, and that only a handful were built.
Finding one, well... You would probably have better luck getting struck by lightning while holding a winning lottery ticket.

all the info i have show's 50 also. i have seen one in person with the original window sticker. the rpo showed it as the B2L option and the vin on the rpo list was correct although it lists it as the f code for engine, which was changed in 87 to 8. i would still like to see more documetation on one though to prove it other than the one i saw and some book writing.
