IM sorry for this post its not really thirdgen related..but it kinda is..I want to prevent it from happening to me as well..
My frineds g/f has a eclipse we did a tuneup tonite on it...and when we pulled the plugs they were dripping with oil ..really bad..where is this coming from ect...I dont want the same thing to happen to my car

 

Usually, it's from worn valve seals or rings (or some kind of oil control problem), but sometimes it just gets oil all over it from outside the engine as you're taking them out. Since it's on an Eclipse, I doubt the latter is the reason unless that baby is just caked with oil.
