idle surge

hey guy
probably nothing but just woundering, when I am stopped in my car and i tap the brake my idle surges down by aproxx. 100-200 rpm, whats up? is it because while stopped at idle and the brake is tapped that the boster call for void to be filled by vacum from the engine.

Won-1-One,

You answered you own question. What car/engine do you have? Normally a V-8 can maintain vacuum easily and the change in idle would be non-existant. An EFI engine should be even less noticable, since the IAC should maintain hot idle speed very closely.
