My car was kinda a little bit of a problem- I found out it has a rolled back odometer (real mileage is only theoretical...maybe around 150k if I am correct). I want to keep my IROC....i love it...I have never driven any car like it. However, if I am gonna be commuting to college next year, I am gonna probably need an engine rebuild to make sure it lasts. Provided that I purchase some aftermarket goodies to have it maybe putting out upwards of a streetable 300 hp, how much will I be looking at to get it rebuilt? I'd rather rebuild it before it blows up Any testimonials would also be appreciated. Thanks a lot. (my engine is the 305, by the way)

 

well you can do what I'm doing, there are several junkyards around here that I can pull an engine from for $100, why not get a 350 and get a cheap rebuild, it will be cheaper and more powerful, plus the junk blocks usually only have 80-130k miles on them.
