setting fuel pressure on tpi
I just installed an AFPR on my 91z28 tpi and need a few pointers on setting the fuel pressure. Should i do it with the motor running or not. what should the gauge read when the ign is on but motor is off. What should it be when motor is on at idle. Right now it reads 39psi with motor running at idle is this bad.

Pull the air line off the regulator and see what the pressure is reading. The pressure will be lower when the line is connected. When you disconnect the line, adjust the pressure to about 46psi. You really need to take the car to a dyno in order to set is accurately, but 46-48psi is a good starting spot.

It really doesn't matter because the fuel pump starts working as soon as you turn the ignition. I set mine with the engine off.
