what to do with the air tube that runs to converter?

I removed my smog pump, lines, plugged the manifolds and re-routed my belt. Now what do you do to "block off" the air tube running down to the converter? I left mine attached to the converter up to the back edge of the valve cover where I did my best to crimp it closed. I don't hear any exhaust leaking from there, but there is a pull of air. Any helpful hints? Thanks!

get some flexible meat; tubing, thread a screw into the end of it and then attach it to the cat, then take the tubing and wrap it around one of your headers a couple time,s the whole point of the tube is to warm up the cat, this way it will still get some heat before the engine completely warms up. if you dont feel like wrapping the the tube just put the screw in it and forget it
