BUT ONLY EVERY NOW AND AGAIN NOT ALL THE TIME.

THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM JUST GHANGED THE MAS AND T TRIED TAPPING IT AND CAR IDLES FINE AT IDLE.

IM GETTING CODES 32,33 AND 36 ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

THE CATS ARE HOLLOW AND DRIVETRAIN HAS 124,000 MI ON IT

First thing is the release the caps lock key.

32 is EGR, 33 and 36 are MAF (assuming you have a TPI engine?) Would suggest trying new MAF relays and searching the boards for code 32.

CEDOE,

Repairing the '36' may solve the '33' as well. A DTC 36 is for a MAF burnoff cycle failure. This means teh MAF hot wire did not complete a burnoff cycle on the last engine shut down. Repeated failures of the MAF burn off can result in accumulations of dust and residue to build up on the MAF sensor hot wire, causing incorrect MAF readings and poor fuel control. Check teh MAF burnoff relay and electrical connector at the MAF sensor itself.

The '32' indicates an EGR system problem, and coupled with your other error codes, I would suggest checking the throttle position sensor voltage adjustment. An incorrect TPS setting can skew the MAF readings and prevent the ECM from enabling the EGR.

I've put about 50 miles on the car today with no ses warnings yet.
hope that was all it was .$18 for 2 relays and about 15 min to change them.
