How much of an exhaust restriction would 305 headers be on a 350?

I might be getting a 350 now this summer... Problem is, I already have a set of SLP's 305 headers on my current 305 and I'm not gonna hvae the money to slap down for new headers along with the new engine... a guy that I've talked to said it won't be all that bad, that they'll still flow a lot better than stock exhaust manifolds. What do you guys think?

You'll be perfectly fine. I wouldn't think it would matter unless you're building up a highly modded 350.

Yeah, thanks. It's not gonna be a hellion of a motor. Just a nice step up from what I already have now. I don't need a 500hp beast of a small block. Just a nice, mild, 280-300hp daily thing, you know

I'm gonna need bigger injectors for my TPI setup, aren't I? By the way, how is that Goodwrench 350? What kinda cam and heads did it come with? I was looking at the Goodwrench engines but I've heard bad things about them... at least that was a while ago. Are they remanufactured or brand new?

Everything is brand new on it. It definately has more get up than the 305. But since I have the basic replacement, the cam and heads are horrible. With the new cam I'm getting it should put me right around 14.0.

Hmm... sounds good. That's about the bracket I think I'm looking to be in. Thanks!
