It is hard to find heads that have the small 1.94 intake valve. Most step up to a 2.02 valve, whick will that claer the bore of the 305. World S/R Torquer are the only alluminum heads that will, bt they were designed as a replavemnet iron head, cast in alluminum, so minimal flow difference. The alluminum vs. iron, will give only a 2-3% power increase. Not worth the swap.
Just swap over to a 350!

If youb don't want to spend alot of money, get a set of L98 vette alum. heads and pocket port them. They have 58cc chambers 1.94 ints. 1.50 exh. and will clear the 305 bore, use a 350 head gasket with the smallest bore you can find,Ferrera makes one thats 4.060.
