Engine Question
Ok in November I was driving along in my 1985 2.8 Liter Camaro, All of a sudden the thermostat light came on, I pulled over and my car was smoking and the coolant in the coolant tank was boiling like it was on top of a stove. I let it sit for 20 minutes. I came out and drove it, It was fine for 15 miles. Then all of a sudden it started doin the same thing again. I let it sit again for a half an hour. When I started driving again it was fine for about 3 miles. Then my car really started acting up, I had my gas pedal flat to the floor and my car just kept going slower and slower until I heard a bang and it shut off, It wouldn't start it would just crank.
I let my car sit overnight and that night it was 20 degrees out so it was pretty cool. I live in northeastern Pennsylvania. I came out the next morning and tried to crank it, And just from cranking it, The coolant was boiling. What's wrong with it?

Yea something is definetly wrong. You better hope it's just the head gasket but man you could have fried some bearings when it ran that hot & how you were just tryin to push it.
You gonna tear it apart or have it fixed yourself?

I would put put my money on a blown head gasket. That happened to me on my way to Allentown. I am in NE PA to. Luckily, it is fairly easy to replace if that is the only problem.
You should probably pull out your radiator and inspect it for any cracks and hair line fractures. You'll have to pressurize it to do that.
Dah, and never ever do that again. If the car overheats, you leave it off... Especially after two times! Now you have anti-freeze mixed with oil touching the cylinders... So, the sooner you pull the heads and get the anti-freeze off the cylinders, the better.
