where cani hook up an oil pressure gauge on engine

I think my gauge may be bad even after i changed the sending unit. where can i hook up a temporary gauge to see exactly what my oil pressure is at on my new motor. it is a 91z28 350tpi. I need the easiest place. where the mechanics hook there up too

see if you can get to the 1/8" pipe plug above and left of the timing cover, it has a square head, that's usually a easy place.

Zr28,

If your case doesn't have this port, there should also be a tapped hole behind the distributor on the rear ledge, and may be another near the oil filter mount on the left side of the case. Any one of those should work for you.
