who has tried what and which would you say performs better, I have a MSD 6AL it worked fine but I think it toasted when I had to jump start the car, a Jacobs system is almost 3 times a MSD so hoipefully someone has an idea.

no idea why or how it got toasted when I jumped it, I was carefull when I hooked up the cables, s not to spark them or get them crossed, I just know it wouldnt start or even try to so when I unhooked the MSD and went back to the stock set up it worked again. When it gets warmer out Ill play with it a little more, I found a few ips at www.msd.com but havent gone to mess with it since then, took the car apart for other things.
