Is this right?

Ok, I know this belongs in the carb board, but this board moves so fast hopefully I'll get a quick answer.

I noticed today when I was fooling with it, that I can fully open the carb with my hands (under the hood), but not if I floor the throttle from inside the car.
Is this right? I wouldn't think so but it could be. However, if it is how would I go about fixing this? Oh yea, the throttle cable is less than 1 year old.

I forget how my brother did it, but there's a way to reposition the gas peddle, sounds like yours is too close to the floor, not giving enough room to go to WOT.

84Trans,

As my dog has been known to say, "That ain't right"

You should readjust the slack in the throttle cable. Also check to see if there is an abundance of floor mats under the pedal itself.
