LB9: L98 or S/R Torquer 305?

I'm thiking about getting new heads later this summer if I can afford it when I do my cam swap. I was wondering, which of these would be better for my LB9 305? I plan on SLP's medium sized cam, I think it's #31006, Edelbrock Hi-Flo TPI base, SLP runners, and SLP CAI. Maybe a bigger throttle body someday for kicks. And hopefully if I can afford it, it'll all be port matched, and have full SLP exhaust sooner or later. Can anyone recomend a good set of roller rockers to go with these heads also? I wanna keep the stock centerbolt covers cause I just bought a set of chrome plated stock ones...

Vortecs will give you the most power, next the torquers with their good intake flow #'s and last L98 heads.

I assume since you said "port matched" that you're willing to do some die grinder work. That's good, because although the Torquers are good parts, they really need the bowl work to make them do what they are capable of. Do the full SA DIY guidelines job on them, you'll have an excellant set of heads. Center bolt covers, screw-in rocker studs, good valve springs, and exhaust cross-over passages also included in the deal.

L30 heads? Not sure if they exist, but if so, are those 305 Vortec heads? From what I hear, they don't flow so great. L31 heads have 64cc chambers and should be shaved .040" or so to get down to 58cc, meaning shave that $400 base as well.

Stay away from Proform roller rockers. The Summit parts should be fine, though. Comp Pro Magnums would be a more expensive but quite excellent choice.
