stuck temp gauge
stuck temp gauge
Hey guys I posted this a few months ago, but didnt get really any break threw ideas......
1) When I start my car my temp needle does the wildest of things. Some times it will jump all the way up an det stuck on the side of the gauge. to try to fix this I bent the gauge so it cant
get stuck
2) some times when I start the car the needle goes down and gets stuck. So I bent the bottom of the guage
3) Some time the needle doesnt move at all.
4) Some times the damn thing works fine.
Anyone know whuts up? I'ved check the connector on the block that is nice n tight, and I also cleaned off any rust or junk that is there, but no help. Do I need a new gauge?
Thanks

My temp guage was doing the exact same thing when it was grounding on my headers along with my o2 sensor wire. That's what I/GM gets for running wires between the block exhaust system. Even my starter solinoid wires are about to fall apart!
