Car: 86Z/92 RS Camaro
Engine: 357 vortec finished. need tuning
Transmission: Still works
Axle/Gears: need 3.73
Lots of oil on the air filter
Hello all, just went to replace my air filter on my 92 RS 5.0 TBI and notice lots of oil on the air filter an at the base of the filter. The car has the following: 1 5/8 SLP header and Borla exhaust. Engine is stock.

Axle/Gears: 3.73, auburn , precision
is the crankcase vent filter still in place? if not that explains the oil all over your filter............

Thanks for the response Wasp, yes the crankcase filter is in place and it's drenched with oil.

no clue on that..mine gets a little suity but not oil soaked........ask vader lol
