I heard that the third gen trans-ams and camaros have a lot of extra parts on because GM didnt know how to make it pass emissions and have alot of horsepower....I heard it from this kid at my job and dont know if it is tru.....i would appreciate it if you could tell me if its tru or not.....and if it is tru what extra parts are on there that i could take off to possibley have more horsepower....thanx

 

Extra Parts? You mean smog equipment , standard. Now these cars were made with low HP to help satisfy emissions. Oh, your screen name, what's up with that, there were no '86 RS's.
