'91 L98 with old style heads?
Try and figure this one out....
The Vette L98 I bought is a '91 but has old style heads - all the holes are on the same plane, perpendicular to the surface of the heads. I know for sure it's a new style engine cuz it has roller lifters. the engine has been untouched since new so this was a factory job. anyone know what the deal is?

I thought Vettes didn't have the L98 in 91
didn't they have LT1's then.

I am pretty sure that the corvette with the L98 had the aluminum heads and for some reason gm decided to use the old style bolt configuration with these heads. I think the Lt1 had its debut in the 92 vettes and then the 93 Fbody.
