Dual Snorkle adapter for Edelbrock Carbs?

I already bought an open element and all but I'm interested if they sell an adapter so I can judge for myself which is better, open element or dual snorkle. So um anyone got the part number?
Thanks a lot,
Inwo

There shouldbt be any reason the Dual snorkel can't fit on the Eddie Carb, Unless the ACC pump or throttle linkage got in the way or something...

yea, that's the problem, I need an adapter of some sort, I know it'll fit, I just need the part number, as summit doesn't seem to carry an adapter that does as much...
Qjet=~4" Edelbrock carb=~5" so the neck doesn't fit, I know they sell an adapter I just can't find it

I can't help you out w/ a #, but i'd be interested to hear which you find is better, the dual snorkel or the open air filter...

I'm planning on taking it to the track when it opens in April. I'm guessing that the dual snorkle will turn out better due to the whole ram-air effect that it gets, but I need the silly part number first ;-)

Check out the airbox turbocity has for dual snorkel, www.turbocity.com could get one like that and use a TPI airbox and the homemade tpi ramair setup if you're really looking for something to entertain yourself with.........

As for an adapter they sell a plastic ring that goes inbetween the air cleaner and the carb to raise the air cleaner up to clear the linkage and/or fuel line. Part number is 8092 for 3/4" and 8093 for 1/2". Theres probably somebody out there who makes a generic spacer as well.
