how wide can i go?

whats the widest tire i can fit underneath a 88 camaro in the rear and front? can you really fit 10'' tires in the back? i was thinking abouyt going with a 17x9 inch rim but i think i may just stay with a 15 and get wider rims...tires will be cheaper (i hope i cant justify 190$ a tire for a 17x9 when im just gonna burn two of them off) also i plan on possibly going with a 4th gen rear soon will that comprimise space? also i couldnt figure out where to post this and if theres a better place please feel free to move it :lala:

well, if you stay with the 15 inch the widest i've personally installed on one was a 265/50R15 in the rear although i think a 275/50 may have fit. as for the front i wouldn't go any wider than a 235/60 or 245/50R15. a cheap way if you got the 4th gen rear would be to go with the take off 16's from slp, but you'd have to run a spacer in the front although i'm not sure how thick.

on my 15X7 rims i have 275/60/15 work fine. i had 295/50/15 on there but they rubbed the lip around really sharp turns. Keep in mind i still have about another inch of backspacing to tuck the wheels in more.
