Have some questions on wheel spacers....

Hey Guys,

Well, I haven't been on these forums for a while. I was a regular here back in 1996-99 (estimated), but I have since had other time consuming activities and haven't had time to pay attention to the old IROC.

Anyway, I haven't driven the Car in 3 years and my two major projects for this year are to get the Tranny rebuilt (the main problem) and to get my new rims on it (I bought newer Z28 rims off of a member of this forum back in 1998).

I know that I need wheel spacers, but I can't remember if I need to get them for the front or the back (or both)?

Also, I can't remember where to get them. I believe that there was a site that sold Corvette parts that had them. They were like $150 each. I have checked on ebay and I found a set of 4 for $100 and they said that they were for a Corvette, but I need to know all of the measurements on them. Does anybody know what I need to get exactly?

My car is a 1986 Iroc (4-wheel discs, and right now it has the 15" rims on it). Don't know if you need any other info.

Any help would be appreciated...Sorry for the lack of info, but I can't remember all of the details since it's been so long.

Thanks!

-Josh

Define 'newer' wheels. What year are the wheels you want to install? If they are from a 3rd gen they will fit with no spacers on any thirdgen.

Yes, they are for a 4th gen (1995), sorry about that.

Thanks, that was the info that I was looking for.

I appreciate the help.

Go to www.skulte.com . They sell the spacers and have an application guide, too.
