Running with no valve Cover Breather?

Is it safe not to use any valve cover breather? cause right now my valve breather is gone and it is just plain open with out any filter. It is so hard for me to find the right size breather....

You should replace the breather with a new one. Leaving an open passageway into your engine is never a good idea. Nothing bad will probably happen but shiznick does happen.
A-Zone, Checker, Advanced and probably every other parts stores stock replacment breathers in a wide variety of shapes and sizes 4-$5. You should get one as soon as possible.

What will happen is you will be sucking dirty air into your crankcase for instance when you drive in a dusty area the engine will suck all of that dirt into the crankcase which is baaaddd!!!! When I pulled all of my AIR stuff off there was a filter on it that was the perfect size for the vave cover. If you have any type of local speed shop go ask for a K&N breather filter that would fit your valve cover. Before I found the breather filter on my air system I was running a K&N breather with a diffrent size
gromett (spelling???). But do your engine a favor and try to feed it some clean air as soon as possibe because engines dont like dirt at all.

I'm doing just that. My problem is that finding the right size. Here on Guam everyone has import cars and verry little thirdgen. None off the speed shop carry any thirdgen accessories.

Thanks for all the info...

be creative, my friend used a ***** grommet on his valve cover breather, and made it fit. you could lube it up really well and coax it in there, as long as its in there and has the filter thats all that matters. they may not be application specific, but then again neither is my 14x5 open air element k&n
