wierd buzzing noise from underhood

hey all

I have an 89 T/A, originally a 305 TBI, I took al that off and dropped in a carb. 350.

I have about 9000 miles on it and today I started hearing a loud electirical type buzzing noise.

I located where it was coming from, and it is some sort of relay on the drivers side firewall.

I dont think its the fuel pump, cuz I use a Holley external pump.

There are 2 or 3 relay, which are to the drivers side of the brake vacum booster, the relay in question is all the way to the drivers side..what is it?

Being an original TBI car, I'd imagine you should only have 2 relays on your firewall. Fan and fuel pump. You'll also have flatter thing, thats the ESC module. I'm not sure if thats where it is on a TBI car or not though.

I'd amke sure your fan works. Then unplug the buzzing relay. Then see if it still works. If not replace the annoying buzzing relay, prolly abut to die. If the fan doesn't work i'd say the buzzer is your fan relay, and it's dead.
