When setting valve lash with car running ...

do i want to go 1/4 turn or 1/2 turn past 0 lash? right now I have it set at 1/2 but i dont know if thats good.

anywhere between 1/4 and 1 full turn is fine. Stock is one turn, for high performance use a lot of people reccomend 1/4 turn, so you should be just fine.

sometimes it better to go closer to 1/2 bc they will make noise on start up

especially when cold.
