Ok so I was throwing out my World Products boxes and there was the folded up directions stuck in the bottom. So I pulled them out and looked them over. It says that you cannot use (bolded) 305 head gaskets because of the revised combustion chambers. wtf? I got a 305 Fel-Pro package for my engine. So does this mean the air-flow is affected or what is up with this?

Uh Oh, directions. I think the differnces for the world heads are the valevs being spread further apart. The gaskets might hang in the camber if this is true. Te fir ering might also be in the chamber too, which would be no good. Did you look at the gaskets and match them up to the heads first?

The difference is the chamber shape. A 305 gasket can hang into the World's chamber, a 350 gasket will not.

I used FelPro 1094. Rubber coated, steel shim like the factory used, 0.015" compressed height, 3.2 compressed volume. Keeps compression up. As long as your deck is flat & smooth, they'll seal fine (I coated with aluminum paint just to be sure).

Yeah there hasnt been any problems its just it was bolded in the directions. Well, the gaskets fit the block perfectly! I didnt match them up with the heads. But whats the difference between gaskets overlapping or the top of the cylinder walls? It seems like the same flow obstruction to me.

It couldn't possibly make a difference as long as they don't go over the cylinder. You can't have airflow through cast iron so you couldn't be blocking anything. If your gaskets match the block like you say then use them. Good luck!!
