DUDE! Get the 2 Bolt - FAST! 400 block arent as common as 350's, and they are usually more expensive. 2 Bolt 400's are stronger than the 4 Bolt versions due to the way the bolt holes were tapped. In the 400 bolck, the extra 2 bolts run throgh the block webbing, and create problems with its structural integrity. If yuo want a 4 Bolt 400, your best bet is to get a 2 Bolt, and have it machined for aftermarket 4 Bolt maincaps (Miloden sells them, and I'm sure some others). Hurry up, go now, pay the man and bring that block home!
Oh, and MAKE SURE that the block hasnt already been bored out. If it has, make sure it has only been bored out .030", and that the cylinder walls are clean and not all scuffed up. Any more than a .030" bore on 400's is risky business, or so I have heard. You may want to do soem more research if it turns out this block has been bored more than that.

Either the guy who is selling the block is a moron or there is something seriously wrong with the block. 2-bolt 400 blocks are becoming harder and harder to find so I'd pick it up in an instant but be sure to check it out good.
