Installing a vacuum advance distributor
Can I install a regular vacuum advanced HEI in place of the stock distributor on my LG4 and still have the ECU and CC q-jet work right?

The carb will work, but not properly, neither will your TC lockup. And you'll get about 10mpg , happened to me when I installed the 350.

I was going to say, but yes Mark is right.
The ECM needs to see the dist. there, pulses and such, I guess.
But go ahead and get the aftermaket card with the non-CC dist.
Install the manual lock-up switch, and your good to go with out the ECM.
