Took my car out today finally! Need some help :)

I finally got my car out. My fans werent turning on @220 and I had to wait until now to see if they turn on when I put the AC on. Well they dont, so does that mean its something more then a switch?

One more

I hear a ticking in my engine. Everyone says its my injectors and perfectly normal. I stuck my head in the engine and the ticking is exactly coming from here:

Is that ok?

Thanks guy

put your finger on the injectors and see if the ticking is the same as the pulse you feel in your finger. yes, some injectors tick. some louder then others. there is only one way to cure this, run open headers, youll never hear the ticking again

as for the fans, first cheak to see if the fans are good. run a 12 volt power source to each one and see if it kicks on. if not then the fan is bad. if they both work then i would replace the coolant fan switch located on the passenger side head. change the thermostat too.. it may be as simple as the wire is off the plug or the wire connector on the sensor is corroded. check the easy cheap stuff first.

there should be 2 rails along each side of the intake manifold, there will be some plumbing on them along with 8 spark plug lookin' thingies (man I'm goin' to get grilled for that discription) with 2 wires ea. comming out of them -those ore injectors.

Dunno bout the fans, it was rather warm today, and when I went to restart my car, turn the ignition key to the point to hear the pump, then all of a sudden I hear this "bzzzzzzz", I was like what the hell?? Oh duh, its the fan. But neway, bout the ticking, is it much louder and clearer when its at operating temp? Cuz when I first start my car, I hear more air rushing in. Then later when its warmed up, I hear a lot of ticking.

It stays the same always, and increase as the throttle is opened up to a certain extent.
