I think i've finally decided on a cam. I want to run the extreme energy 284 cam, .507/.510 lift. How much pressure do I need on the seat and open pressure to run those kinda #'s......assuming I grind down the tops of the guides for retainer clearance? I was thinking of going with the Kmotion K-700s or Comp 981's. Any suggestions? Will those K-motions fit into the stock spring pocket? I know the Kmotions are like 1.260 but the stock vortec spring looks like 1.241ish. I wish I had that tool to measure spring pressure and stuff.
