What does it mean when you try to check codes and it does not even give you the service engine soon code.

It means the bulb is burned out lol
Either that, there is a bad connection somewhere in between, or the ECM is fried.

It's not the globe because the check engine light come and i went to check what code it would give as i turned the ignition key it flashed twice and that was it.I think the computers alright besides pinging at full throttle everything else seems alright
any help please
