Emmision question
whats the box, directly next to the silencer, with wires coming out of it? is it related to the AIR system? and is it safe to take it off along with the smog pump, EVAP canister purge valve, and the A.I.R. manifold????

Not sure if this is what you are talking about..but there is a "box" with wires and some vac hoese going to it on the pass side.
This box is actually a plastic cover. If you remove the cover, you will see 2 smog diverter valves and the related wires and vac hoses.
